This is your chance to own a piece of vintage advertising memorabilia! This porcelain ashtray is straight from the 1950s- an ashtray from The Harry Godshall Inc., Guarantee Trust Building, in Atlantic City, NJ. This item features the famous slogan "The Big Gun of Insurance," ripped straight from the headlines of the 1953 Press of Atlantic City Newspaper! Harry Godshall started the Insurance firm in 1915, and died in 1976 so this is a true piece of history!
It is maroon porcelain on top with white lettering and a picture of a cannon. The ashtray isround shaped, and the sides are concave curved, with three spaces to hold cigarettes.
It is in good condition, no chips or cracks, but there are very light, unnoticeable scratches on the bottom from age or use.
This piece of mid-20th century Atlantic City advertising memorabilia measures about 4" in diameter x 1"H
Vintage, so As-is.
